Hainan Holdings Special Glass Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "HNHT")has deeply cultivated the Algerian glass market in North Africa under the national "the Belt and Road" initiative. In January 2022, it signed the Technical Service Contract for the General Design of the 600T/J Solar Ultra White Glass Production Line Project with the Algerian Mediterranean Float Glass Company (hereinafter referred to as "MFG"), This project is the second cooperation between the two parties on the basis of mutual trust after the cold repair technical service project of MFG600T/D float glass production line and the process design and general contracting project of 800T/D float glass production line.

In this project, “HNHT”designed a high-end solar photovoltaic glass production line with a daily melting capacity of 600T/D and a downstream deep-processing glass production line for MFG. The products are used for photovoltaic power generation modules, which is in line with the development trend of the global new energy industry. In addition to providing technical services,“HNHT”will also provide key process equipment and materials for MFG in this project.

This project is also a historic breakthrough of “HNHT” in the design of the complete production line of photovoltaic rolled glass. "Carbon peak" and "carbon neutral" are the only way to green development. At present, China is vigorously developing photovoltaic rolled glass. The signing of this project also lays a good foundation for “HNHT” to develop the domestic photovoltaic glass market.
